Project 2: Shutter Speed

This picture was done by having my cousin pose for me and just shaking her head. I left the shutter speed very slow and I think it caught a really cool effect.

This photo was taken in my boyfriend, Zac's, junk yard. I used and external flash to capture his ghostly silhouette so clearly and had a fog light on as well. The shutter speed was set on 10.0.

The technique in this photo was similar to the one above but i had my cousin Kathleen join in. This was also on a very slow shutter speed with the fog lamp and external flash.

Project 1: Depth of Field

This First Photo was captured at the zoo while an adult kangaroo was napping in the sun. I particularly liked this photograph because of the textures and the shadows.

This picture was also taken at the zoo. I was intrigued by the color of the flamingos as well as the position the 2 main birds are in. This is a very shallow depth of field and I think it was well captured.

I really like this picture in the fact that it looks like the monkey is engaged with the camera. It is also a shallow depth of field.
